4. Health & Safety

We take health and safety seriously on every job. Our key principles include:

Carrying out risk assessments before and, where needed, during the work
Using appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
Maintaining and using tools and equipment safely
Managing cables, tools and materials to reduce slip and trip hazards
Using correct methods for lifting glass and frames, and safe disposal of sharp materials
Taking care when working at height, using suitable ladders, platforms or scaffolding

For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you do not enter the active work area while installation is in progress, unless agreed with our team leader.

5. What We Kindly Ask of You

To help us complete the work efficiently, safely and with minimal disruption, we ask that you:

Provide clear access to all areas where work will take place
Move furniture, ornaments and personal belongings away from windows and doors where possible
Let us know in advance if you need help moving large or heavy items
Ensure there is access to power and, where necessary, water
Inform us of any parking restrictions or access issues before we arrive
Notify us of any alarm systems, fragile fittings, concealed wiring or pipes, or other potential hazards
While we’re busy making your home look great, we’d love your help keeping little ones, furry friends and curious visitors out of the work zone.

6. Completion, Quality & Aftercare

Once the work is complete, we will:

Inspect the installation to ensure it meets our quality standards and relevant regulations
Clean the work area and remove waste materials and old frames/units (as agreed)
Demonstrate the operation of windows, doors and locks where required
Confirm that you are happy with the work before we ask for final sign-off
Arrange for the necessary CERTASS certificates and documentation to be issued to you

We also offer a range of aftercare services, including:

Repairs to existing windows and doors
Misted glass replacement
Adjustment or replacement of hardware such as hinges, locks and handles
to help keep your installation performing at its best.
